The Ganges is the most sacred riverof India and about 40 percent of Indian population is in one or other way dependent on the Ganges. This river is the life line of India, in its 2525 kms of long course there are many sacred towns, forests and mega cities. The Yamuna another sacred river of India is also is its largest tributary. We are working in the conservation of the Ganges by educating communities about the concept of water-quality.
